Dear Field Families,
Thank you for your patience as we developed a plan to get student materials organized and packed up. Teachers are in the building this week to gather student materials. They will place the items that were in your child’s desk and locker in a bag. You will have the opportunity to pick up your child’s belongings. We will also be collecting Field School library books and Safety Patrol Belts at this time as well. Please see the procedure below for details.
You also have the right to deny picking anything up from Field and we will dispose of the items for you. If you do not want to pick up your child’s items and want us to dispose of them, please fill out the linked form by 8:00 AM on Monday, May 18.
Mrs. Patel will be emailing families who need to pick up medication separately and will explain the procedure at that time. If you have questions related to this, please email Mrs. Patel at dpatel@elmhurst205.org.
Schedule
Monday, May 18: kindergarten through second grade 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Tuesday, May 19: third grade through fifth grade 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Procedure

Please pull up in front of the school on N. Emroy Ave.

When you pull up, please have a sign that indicates your child’s last name and teacher and hold the sign up to your window.

Open the trunk of your car.

Someone will grab your child’s bag(s) and place it in the trunk of your car.

If you are returning library books or a Safety Patrol Belt, please have these items in the trunk and we will take them at that point.

Please remain in your car at all times.
If you have children across multiple grades, you can pick up everyone’s things at one time.
Please note that these days are the only days you can pick up your child’s belongings. If you have a conflict please fill out the form. If you do not pick up your child’s belongings or contact us, they will be disposed of.
Please be aware that I will be sending a communication at a later date outlining the procedure for returning school issued devices.
